Speedo stopped working!!!
hi, my97 sti import. converted to mph few yrs ago. working fine untill last week it went dead! all other dials are ok and lights up ok.
Anyone hand experience on this???
Any advise would be great.

Sounds like the cable linked from the speedo to the gearbox is not in its place. You can check that the cable is in place by reaching out from under the dash (you have to feel it, cannot see it)........otherwise you gotta take out the speedo to check it out.

Same happened with my 93 wrx import. The speedo cable is in 2 parts and the gearbox end went on mine. Wasn't too expensive for the part, the problem was getting a uk subaru dealer to order it, the word "Import" is a swear word to them.
