Question Omex shiftlight

I´m trying to connect a Omex Shiftlight Pro to my ´02 WRX but I just can´t get the thing to light up.

It has 3 wires. Blue, red and black. The blue one I´ve connected to the green from the tacho. The red one to positive from ignition and the black one to ground. I´m sure it´s powered because the small LED´s are lighting up when I´m adjusting rpm and cylinder settings (OMEX doesen´t use pills).
One problem is which green wire from the tacho to use. There are two. One is green/yellow and one is green/black. Which one to use? I tried them both.

I called Omex, and they suggested to use a resistor between the blue and the red wire.
