Omex shiftlight

Iīm trying to connect a Omex Shiftlight Pro to my ī02 WRX but I just canīt get the thing to light up.

It has 3 wires. Blue, red and black. The blue one Iīve connected to the green from the tacho. The red one to positive from ignition and the black one to ground. Iīm sure itīs powered because the small LEDīs are lighting up when Iīm adjusting rpm and cylinder settings (OMEX doesenīt use pills).
One problem is which green wire from the tacho to use. There are two. One is green/yellow and one is green/black. Which one to use? I tried them both.

I called Omex, and they suggested to use a resistor between the blue and the red wire.
