Question connecting Omex shiftlight HELP

Trying to get an Omex Shiftlight Pro to work in my ´02 WRX. All 3 wires (red, blue and black) from the Omex unit are connected but it just won´t light up.

One problem is that I don´t know which wire to take the tacho signal from. Other posts suggest to connect to the green wire from tacho but the thing is there are several green wires in my car going to the tacho. One is green/yellow and another is green/black. I tried both.

I just called Omex who suggested to install a resistor between the blue and the red wire on the Omex unit. Will this work?

Strange thing is that I´m sure the unit is powered as the two small LED´s are lighting up when I change cylinder and rpm settings. Just no light in the shiftlight when the tacho hits the preset setting.

Help please as everything is dismantled and I need my car to work tomorrow.

Done. The correct wire is blue with a VERY faint small green line. Pin nr. 6 on the tacho block, right next to a black wire. My ´01 WRX.
