sorry to be thick, bit how do you change a sidelight bilb?
just realised i've never had to change a head light/sidelight bulb in my life and can't see any obvious wires/plugs?
do i have to take out the side light do change the bulb?
what wattage is it?
and where can i buy one from? (not dealer for obvious reasons)
thanks in advance for any help
god, i feel stoopid

If it's a pre facelift IIRC up to 98 ?? all you need to do is take out the pozidrive screw at the top of the headlight and tug the side light out
As for the bulb go to halfords or the like and IIRC it's a 5w capless bulb.

If its a classic. Lift the bonnet, locate the screw above the main headlight.
If you look this screw is attached to a plastic lug on the sidelight, remove the screw.
Next give the entire sidelight housing a sharp tug forward. It can be a bit difficult as its held in via a small ball joint but don't be shy
This remove's the housing and attached at the back is the connectors, quick twist and you've got access to the bulb.
It's a 5W5 bulb you need
