I have a MY97 Impreza with Aircon and needless to say that the bulbs in the heater controls are vastly different to that of the dash.
I have the blue bulb kit, but they don't fit the heater controls I think LED's are the answer fitted with a resistor inline before the bulb.
Am I going down the right track,or just making additional work for myself??

I think on the MY97 the base of the bulbs have to be shaved down to fit also they have to be fitted inside out if you get what I mean! dismantle the faceplate put the bulbs so the contacts are sticking out the back put the faceplate back together reconect then hey presto.
