How did it go?.
This is one of those situations where you could really do with a Haynes manual wiring loom.
Did you check both fuse boxes?, my ititial thoughts are that either a plug in relay or fuse was missing? Only because they could save money by not putting it in.
How much did they cost you anyway? Mail me if you feel it best.

Hi Hol,
Wired them in myself as the massive response helped me out...not
In the end, checked all my fuses and none were missing or blown, so tapped into the main beam wiring myself then down to some relays then into the ancillary wiring for the driving lights....
Havent put them on cos my Sti blanking plates are stuck on, so hopefully will have them on tonight or saturday at the latest.
yhm btw

Yep, UK cars have seperate switches for front and rear fogs. I imagine the wires will all be there though (on the STI), just not used. I'm surprised no-one has put together a wiring diagram for Scooby's yet - that would be worth a few quid to a few people to avoid all the head scratching when messing around with electrics !!
Maybe haynes will do it one day ?!?!?

About to install my P1 Driving lights (cheers Bito ) probably tongiht or tomorrow eve, on the wiring loom from the headlight bulb there is a connector which fits straight onto the P1 connectors, problem is that the connectors do not have any switched power, I can scotchlock a new wire to this from the high beam wire but would rather not due to the current connectors being right, plus scotchlocks and waterproofing issues!! .....
Is there a fuse or a special relay anywhere that would be the cause of the non switched power at present? - Had a look yesterday but to no avail, maximus head scratching going on here!
Cheers

All the classic shape Impreza's have bolt on blanking plates of some description, earlier ones were 3 bolt, later bumper were 1 bolt.
Could be for fog lights, but even when the rear fog is switched on there is no switched power, unless there is a dedicated loom somewhere under the dash to power them up....
