Default Battery and handbrake light

Hello All

I have a weird issue. Most times i start the car i have the battery and handbrake lights flash on and off at me for the first few minutes of a drive. They eventually stop and stay off. On 2 occasions in the last 3 months they have just come on and stayed on till i switch the car off. Once off and i switch the car back on they stay off. They seem to flash on when i press the accelerator pedal sometimes but could be coincidence.

My battery is good and tested ok.

Only thing i have done is add a double din to the car.

Anyone have any intermittent issues with those lights or know what could be causing them to light up on starting?
And can anyone suggest a place to start tracking down the odd issue?

I moved the cage and earth wire from the og stereo to the double in so should be no prob in theory.
Hmm i will take the double din out and check all the cables.

Could it be anything with brakes or an earth somwhere elese?

The parking brake warning light is also the brake fluid low level warning light.
It could also indicate poorly adjusted handbrake lever/cables not allowing the handbrake switch to fully open

It could also be the reason for the battery charging light illuminating as both systems are inter connected.
