Default Qashqai side lights blowing fuse

Hi folks
Any help greatly appreciated.

Fuse f9/10 keeps blowing when turning on sidelights. Changed out bulbs and ok for about 30 seconds.

The fuse blowing leaves me with no rear lights except for stop lights.

Headlights, highbeam all ok.

Any thoughts on what could be causing fuses to keep popping or anything i could check?

Help much appreciated.

Dave

Likely to be a short circuit on the sidelight circuit.
You need to start at the front and work along the wiring looking for possible shorting sites.

Had similar on a Xantia, it kept blowing the heater fan fuse. Turned out to be a wire which had rubbed against the base of the battery box, bit of tape repaired it.
