Gonna give callaghans a ring over the next few days, to see if they would be willing to do a local group buy on Goodyear F1 Eagles, these seem to be the preferred tyre of choice for wet/dry use and last time I got a set of em from Callaghans they were 100 Euro per corner, as opposed to £115 per corner in the north.

There have been a few queries about tyres recently and I need a couple myself, and wouldnt use anything but the F1's.........

Will keep you posted

Scott

I got a very good deal on Goodyear Eagles from Gilnahirk Tyres around the start of the year, give them a bell and let us know if you get a good deal.

ok, and don't shoot! Subaru (aka donellys) are selling sets of alloys plus tyres (potenza 050) for 400 + vat a pop. apparently they are coming from subaru uk, and are the oem's from the GB270.

as i understand it there were a total of 350 sets in stock across the uk and there are very few left. i'm sure eastwoods would be able to order these in. they arethe silver/anthracite alloys of the my06-07 and can fit all new age cars. not sure re classics!

Agree with robert here N&P in ballymena are very resonable and will deal with you, there on the Larne Road beside where Citroen used to be.I get all my tyres from them .Give Noel a call and see what kind of deal he will do.
