Gonna give callaghans a ring over the next few days, to see if they would be willing to do a local group buy on Goodyear F1 Eagles, these seem to be the preferred tyre of choice for wet/dry use and last time I got a set of em from Callaghans they were 100 Euro per corner, as opposed to £115 per corner in the north.
There have been a few queries about tyres recently and I need a couple myself, and wouldnt use anything but the F1's.........
Will keep you posted

ok, and don't shoot! Subaru (aka donellys) are selling sets of alloys plus tyres (potenza 050) for 400 + vat a pop. apparently they are coming from subaru uk, and are the oem's from the GB270.
as i understand it there were a total of 350 sets in stock across the uk and there are very few left. i'm sure eastwoods would be able to order these in. they arethe silver/anthracite alloys of the my06-07 and can fit all new age cars. not sure re classics!
