Haven't travelled that route much in recent years. It may be worth your while to stick a few cans of octane booster in the boot just as a precaution otherwise use standard unleaded (if you car is happy on it) and go easier with the right foot.

I am sure some of the southern guys will be along soon with more accurate details.

Cheers,
TT

Take his advise and bring a couple of cans of octane booster. It's sold as V-power but I'm 99% sure it's only 95ron over here.
I stand corrected though.
Cheers

No such thing as high octane petrol down here now. 95RON and that's it, believe it or not. Bring your octane booster and fill up before you come!

Yes V-POWER is 95ron with a fuel system cleaning additive. Super Plus 97/98 Ron petrol has finished up here since 31st may 2005. Can't remember the reason. Its Ireland so more then likely something stupid. This is a poxy country!!!
