Rally-Europe Event
#1
Wasnt sure where to post this,
With a business partner i have recently set up a new venture called Rally-Europe Ltd
It is based on the Gumball 3000, but a much cheaper and affordable alternative.
We will be doing some major car magazine advertising in the next month or so and it's set to be an event of a life-time.
We will be taking around 75 sports cars on a rollercoaster week around Europe covering over 3000 miles and seeing some fantastic scenery, having some great evenings and spending a day on a top European race track.
Sounds like its your kind of thing?

Steve,
I had a look at your website and it sounds like a really exciting way to spend 7 days -- something I have been considering for a few years. But how can you call £1,750 for 1 week affordable? £250 per day for room, dinner and b-fast (even including the channel crossing)? This must be a very profitable "new venture"?
Another concern is the sponsorship. I pay this kind of money and then I also have to use my car as an advertising billboard?
And why can't I get sponsored myself??? That doesn't make much sense. The only way I would take part is if I find a sponsor. But that's not allowed if I understood correctly?
I'd love to take part in this event, and even my bro-in-law is interested to fly over from Moscow to be my co-driver... but we need to come to some more sensible commercial arrangements. Please let me know (off line if you prefer).
Cheers,
Andrei

profitable?
are you kidding?
we are making next to nothing on this event!
We have booked all 4 star hotels and restaurants, booked a formula 1 race track for a day, ferry crossings, insurance policies stickers, t-shirts, magazine adverts, etc etc etc
anyway, we are nearly fully booked so we dont need to "strike" any deals with anyone
cheers

Good sales pitch
Not my idea of "all inclusive".
4 star hotels you say.....
Forgive me if I pass on this
PS, I assume you've contacted Simon with regards to getting a banner ad?
The entry fee into the Rally-Europe is £1750 all inclusive
Rally-Europe does not pay for any motorway toll payments, petrol, and other personal acquisitions such as Hotel drinks, room mini bars, telephone bills
4 star hotels you say.....
Hotels rooms are pre-booked around Europe for you and your co-driver at the end of each stage, don't assume you are spending every night in a hotel!
