Does this mean I have to have driven it to have an opinion ?
Yes.
Have you any idea how fast he would be going when he reached the crest?

Steve777, Nope everyone is free to express there own opinions about anything. It was only a question to establish if you had been there to understand what the circuit is actually like as I found it a very scary place (maybe cause it was raining and snowing - don't think that helped at all...)
I've not done many laps over their but I thought at times I was starting to learn where the track went, only to be caught out and have a bit of a moment...

I am doing 155MPH over that crest into the braking area. It's fkin fast!
He was offline, but at the speed he was doing that wouldnt have been a problem. He spun it because he slammed the anchors on and then didnt get back on the throttle before he started his turn. 911's off throttle slightly unsettled are not a good idea.
The corner is actually tighter than it looks too, good for about 130MPH but still quite tight at that speed and its very bumpy, not so much where he lost it, but where he ended up it's like a washboard.

Thanks T16GER as you say i'm entitled to an opinion given the evidence I have seen
I appreciate the circuit is difficult to drive and know people that have plus there are some loony's out there
But
He had plenty of time IN MY OPINION to avoid the bike and adjust for going off line
Chill out davyboy and go and have a beer at the pub - Merry Christmas !!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe there should be a scooby meet at the ring ? I would be up for that

I dare say there will be loads of meets next year, try Easter.
I am chilled but that place will make you think twice about how good a driver you think you are, I found out - I suck

BTG 9:30 after 40 laps.
I am happy with that, although I keep saying that to myself, and then go out next lap and go a little faster and say, I am happy with that, although I keep saying that to myself, and then go out next..........................

Wow, wish there were tracks here where I could actually learn to drive.
Is there any vacation packages over there where I could learn to drive on a track over a 3 - 7 day period ? Any links ?
Cheers,
Ray

I am as fast as the car will go, from the exit of Quiddelbacher-Hohe its full throttle for bloody ages. So far 155MPH is the most i have seen, i would love to do it in a GT3, that must be awesome there.
