Default classic impreza carbon interior trim??

Hi

i've bought a 2000w uk turbo as a bit of a project as it's in a bit of sorry looking state at the moment, It's been stood for 6 months prior to me buying it earlier this week.

i've been giving the interior a good clean today but i've decided that certain bits of trim are looking old & worn, such as the plastic gearstick surround.

So........ i'm toying with the idea of giving the interior a bit of a spruce up with some carbon. Such as the heater/radio surround, centre console, gearstick surround, door handle trim etc

So what i want to know is has anybody fitted the carbon vinyl wrap & if so have they got any pics i can nosy at!

thanks

Craig

just had a look at the pics, looks like a very neat job you did, especially with the gear surround, which is the part i want to do the most as it looks old & worn.

I was sat looking at it yesterday thinking it looks like it'd be a tricky SOAB! I even thought about buying another surround to have a practice.

Have you got any hints/tips that may help with doing it myself?

thanks

It was a pig of a job and I'm not going lie the coin tray is in two parts. I tried doing it in one piece but it just wouldn't stretch into the coin tray so I had to cut this stretch it over the edges and the I cut a piece the size and shape of the tray base and put that in afer. So yes it's patched but you can't see it because of the carbon pattern.

Hi Craig here's mine as it stands at the moment, did it last year with the 3d bubble free carbon wrap. When you do the gator surround start at the lowest point with the wrap and work from that or on a hot day it will lift like my mates does. Make sure everything is cleaned with alcohol first to ensure good adhesion. Later this year I hoping to do the dash and console with suede type material.
