Default Interior change and now have a problem

Hi guys, I have been asked by a customer to swap a complete interior apart from the dash. The car im working on is a 93 impreza classic import and the interior I need to fit is from a 2000 impreza uk.
Now apart from a few brackets and clips most of it has gone in without too much of a problem untill I got to the drivers door.
The problem is the window switch! the multi plug is completely different with a different number of wires.
Please tell me there is an easy way around this?

You surprise me...The doorcards off a UK car DO NOT match up with the shape of the dash on an earlier car.

Im assuming they are from a uk? Unless its just out of a newer import. Im just going by what the customer has told me. The cards are on all doors without too much trouble and do seem to line up with the dash. The old window switch was the big square type while the new one is the sleeker type ( not far off from what i have in my 05 plate wrx). I will take some photos when im back in work monday.

I looked into matching the two types and the area at the top/front of the doorcards didn't match the dash profile.

I just waited and got later seats AND doorcards.
