Default New speedo pod with slight problem

ive got my new speedo pod and fitted the only real problem is that the ABS and handbrake lights dont go off, does anyone know of an easy fix for this

Seen it done, can't remember the details.

IIRC you need a relay which REVERSES the on/off for the handbrake, so that when YOUR car says the handbrake is on, it sends the message to the dials that it's off, if you understand that.

For the ABS, I seem to think it needed a resisitor?

Try a search way back.

thanx mate, cant seem to find owt in the search

dont know if it makes a difference but the clocks are out of a 2005 with the red needles cos everyone seems to have no probs when changing them but me

No, that's not true, I've seen more than one post about those issues.

IIRC, the handbrake thing was solved using a tiny relay, I think it was a NC one off an electronics website. Or just take both bulbs out?

think the bulb out might be the way forward if i cant get it sorted

could be only problem is that there not hawkeye gauges there 2005(so blobeye gauges)

lol double poster eh???????

so do i mate but the ones i really want are the hawkeye ones that sweep on startup but cant afford them at the mo...........one day maybe lol

You need to fit a relay to get abs light off,and earth a pin on dash to get handbrake light working as it should give me a ring monday
