Question

Does anybody have any experience of the Blitz Dual turbo timer which apparently is both a turbo timer and digital boost gauge?

If so, how does the boost gauge feature rate against the more traditional 'dial' type boost gauge (accuracy etc).

Any comments / alternative suggestions would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Ady

I have one of the new 'compact' Blitz dual timer jobbies, it shows the current and peak boost, current boost is continously updated and shows via digital figures, you can have a graph bar that goes from left to right horizontally which also shows boost in grahph style, not sure on accuracy tho

I think it gets the info from the ECU.
So it should know as much as the car knows!

I have one,
it doesn't connect to the ECU, it uses it's own internal pressure sensor. I don't know how accurate the actual numbers are but it gives readings in kg/cm2 to two decimal places so you can see small changes in boost very easily.
The main reason I got the unit was 'cause it stored the max boost figure and was cheaper than most electronic boost gauges with this feature.
generally I'm quite pleased with it, I even use the turbo timer functions on track days
