Default What's missing in this picture? Prosport Boost gauge

Hi guys,

Wonder if someone can tell me if something is missing from the pic below.

I purchased some Prosport electronic stepper gauges but cant figure out what turns the mechanical boost into an electronic signal, methinks something is missing.

The wires included are for illumination and the other for linking the other gauges, cant figure out what recieves the signal for the actual boost..Been searching the group buy thread but I am really stuck now..

I think the Vacum boost sensor and its 3 wire connector is missing?

Thanks in advance

I will post some pictures up tomorrow for you of the installation in my 03 WRX. I'm not sure what that large part is - mine came with a small silver filter that the pipe fitted onto.
Yes - you seem to have the part missing that converts the pressure into the electrical signal - mine was a black component. Check the photo tomorrow.

Cheers Moblyman that would be appreciated, I think your right I am missing the mechanical to electrical converter and the wire that connects it to the gauge. This looks like a kit for a mechanical boost gauge methinks...

Thanks

hi

i have the same gauge, you are definately missing the black box that connects to the hose and which the wires from the gauge connect to.

Hope you get it sorted

Cheers guys, those pics were very helpfull Molbyman - Thanks for the trouble...I am definately missing the black box and associated connector. Hopefully Danny from Xyberautos will get back to me as I doubt I will be able to buy them here seperately..

They do look awesome, I wired them up with my booster pack at home just to test them out.

Cheers again people..
