Default New Age Vents Converted to Guage Pods

In the process of doing a bit of work to the scoob, and im having to change the boost guage and also fit an AFR meter.
I was unable to find a guage pod anywhere that i liked, as i hate having extra things slapped around the dash etc. So while sitting looking at the interior of the car, i came up with the idea that a set of guages could go into the airvents on the dash. I didnt really know where to start, but after posting on here got talking to KIPS. He agreed to modify them for me, and they have been returned to me today. Well pleased, cant wait to see what they look like in the car, but heres a preview of how they look out of the car.

Thanks again KIPS

from what i can see, pieces of plastic are plastic welded in place of the vents, then holes cut out for the guages. He had to take a small nick out of the bottom of both sides to allow for the guages.

Looks good, I hope you can still keep it cool enough in there in the summer without centre vents

Looks good. Looking forward to a pic with the gauges fitted.
What car is it from? Doesn't look like my classic dash.

I thought a Newage was anything after a classic. Because they have names also: Bug eye, blob eye, hawk eye etc. Not that I know what an 02 STI would come under anyway
