Been playing about making these consoles but cant decide which one to keep and which one to sell The black one with controlls at the bottom light up aswell bit of a barsteward to do,
if you think their crap dont just say their crap say why as all opinions help as i can make another one with new ideas

i like the silver one mate looks like it was made to be there

 

to start with i did'nt like the silver one as it was sitting beside the black one and that was the one i prefered

but

seeing the silver one in the car changed my mind, i prefer the silver one

 

Fair point need to fit sig lighter to silver one

naaa........ the black one is by far the better one ....... Ill buy the silver one

 

Make some more and sell them

 

The silver one works well in car, but could benefit from the instrument binnacle surround being silver too. The impreza interior is pretty dull and dark, so a touch of silver here and there could improve things.

Both look good quality.

 

I like the silver one as it looks like it could have been there from the factory. The black one looks home made (I don't like the dials).

 

The silver brightens up the interior, but its a bit much on the eyes, I prefer the black one, and as you said, it lights up at night which helps

black one looks stock apart from the switches maybe black switches instead of metallic ones would be more in keeping with OE look

Can anyone help need to get some backlight dials made Ive managed to make a actual size template but just needs refining as only got windows paint and the white is a bit blurry,Will be leaving the aircon/re cerc switches in the top vents as this saves smoothing them off.This version has got the cup holders at the top,ashtray, cig lighter and din size heater controlls as suggested by other members



Bellow is what I need made up they must be able to be backlit either sticker or if possible on a thin piece of plastic in black
