Much use as a chocolate teapot, so mine have been replaced with the remote control for a bass processor and the coded valet switch for a clifford alarm...

Cool

Gents,

I think they're put in there simply to fill the gaps! If you look in an STi 5 the one nearest the gear stick is for the diff switch, so I would imagine the two your talking about near the hand brake can be replaced by switches for somthing else.... What else is beyond me!!!! (wierd how I was only thinking about this on the way home...)

What? You mean you don't have a diff switch?

How do you cope?

They are used to fit 2 additional bright switches just so that your middle switch does'nt feel left out.

I asked the dealer about those when I picked the car up, and they are indeed to fill in the holes where switches may be on other models. One for the diff switch and the other (if i remember correctly) for an electric sunroof.

I think that these are for heated seats. I remember seeing them on a Forester and a GL Impreza. Why did they make them so wonderfull at catching fluf though.

Just coin holders. They do hold change for bridges, tolls etc. My youngest hit on the idea of a bit of screwed up silver foil in with the coins to stop them rattling too
