Twist harder - anticlockwise.

Grab hold of your **** and give it a bloody good twist and yank, keep repeating the process until it comes off in your hand!!

Hope this helps!

Anti-clockwise - then you have to give it a quick tug to prlraseit from the gaitor.

Still having a problem?
get your partner to hold the base of your stick whilst you work the top with both hands.
works for me (evry nite).
You could also cut the tip off(shorter).
size matters!!!!!!

couldnt help it

Thanks again for the anti clock wise twist info.
However I want to point out that in my 53 gx sport the **** was well gripped by the gator so yanking would have probably ripped the leather. I sawed though the **** after unscrewing.
about 5mm away from leather. Fixing momo **** was then easy.

Exclamation

Could be worth keeping some tissues handy as it does get a bit messy when it finally releases
