Default Anyone want to quote me better then confused.com?

I got my renewal due soon and at the moment, confused are giving me the best rate. In fact, some "specialist" are over £1000 more!

Best rate thus far: esure £470

Standard WRX hatchback, postcode: bb32ql. Age 37, 6 years no claims. Left on the street.

Sky insurance:

"The annual premium is £1,325.00 based on the following details:

Vehicle: SUBARU IMPREZA WRX 5 door Hatchback 2457 cc

Drivers: Insured and Spouse

Cover: Comprehensive"

Dear ***

I have looked at your quote details and you are the type of customer we are looking for.

The premium you have been quoted is very competitive, and we are unable to compete at this time.

Please call 0845 013 8225 should you find the premium to be incorrect.

Many Thanks,

Keith Michaels PLC

Anyone insurers want to PM me for my details, feel free. I would ideally like to go with a "specialist" as I would like to modify the car (remap, exhaust..etc)

Best quote with mods, again via confused.com: Bell/ Admiral: £630.

It's highly unlikely you'll beat that £470

Yeh, £470 is good...I would however, don't mind paying a little more (around £500) knowing that when I phone the insurers and have done my mods, they will know what I was talking about.
