No you can't transfer insurance to your friend, unless of course anyone else knows different.

I cant remember exactly and would need to check it but any company with morales wouldnt offer £15 would they ?? £60 2 weeks ago and now £15 , get the jist ? They can do what they like basically !!! Their attitudes are pathetic also and then they have the cheek to send a customer service email to ask how they did , I aint got enough time to write them a true response , plus it would just be deleted anyhow cause their a law onto themselves .

I asked for a quote for a different car (lower group) and they wanted to charge me an extra £180 , other companies on gocompare were £450 and they wanted £680 . I said to her whys this and she just said thats the price our insurers want !!! Basically they had me by the short and curlys because i paid my policy upfront , lesson learned , i will be paying monthly from now on but never again with *** !!!

No, they can't do what they want. They can only do what you agreed with them when you took your policy out. Check the paperwork that you agreed to - you can request this again from them if you have misplaced it - and see what the policy allows for.

I have a commercial policy also so its no good to me the scooby policy , i would rather take out a new 12 month policy than give those b*****s an extra £180 for a cheaper to insure car .

You maybe able to transfer the remaining insurance onto your new vehicle if you have one, minus a fee of course.

I do have to agree with your comments about Adrian Flux never had any joy with them,

Im with Admiral and has been great, Ive took a new policy out today with them and i asked the question if i only use it for 3 months (Ive bought a winter car) will i get a refund, I was told yes it will be dived in to months and you will get back the remaining minus £40 to cancel

Most companies cancel on a pro-rata basis these days, minus a small fee (normally £25ish)

Unfortunately there are still some who cancel 'short period' and they hardly give anything back when cancelled.
