Default greenlight gives me the redlight

Green light a complete waist of time. they gave my mate a quote who is 24yrs with 4 years no calims on a scooby classic which is 340bhp and he has had 2 accidents non fault a quote of 549.00.

i have a sti scooby classic same year 97 i have 4 years no claims had two accidents non fault full recovery made and one pending where the car was parked. Have a clifford and a tracker 300 bhp they quoted me 1596.00. i am 33 yrs.when i asked the guy why is this and my friends is this much he says well thats the best price i said but it does not make sense. virgin quoted me 987.00 express insurance quoted me 640.00. and mr greenlight if you get to read this then here you go ref www50747 how can a younger guy with more bhp insurance quote be less and i mean bigtime less than a 33yr old with less bhp and living in the same post code.

I read more complaints than i do praise for this company. They are totally inconsistant with who they quote and what they'll cover. Not to mention cost fluctuations. They really do need to get their house in order.

Gary @ Keith Micheal's is your man for insurance.

I moved from Greenlight to A Plan( Thatcham office) and got my Impreza and Charade GTti insured for the same price as what I was paying for the Impreza and cover is at least equal.

I also found paperwork turned up immediately and none of my paperwork that I had to send back ever got lost in the post.

That said Tony was very helpful in helping with my claim but now its apparent the repair was not done properly as the repaired areas are now looking poor with rust coming through. This was underwritten by Highway who I advise you avoid.

I moved to A Plan from L&V due to mods and a spiralling premium. They did a great deal and when I recently notified them of a load more mods they just made a small adjustment, no hassle at all. I'd certainly recommend A Plan at the moment, but then I haven't made a claim (and hope not to!) so couldn't say how they perform in that situation.
