Question Declaring accidents in commercial vehicles?

Would a minor accident in a company owned commercial vehicle as a named driver need to be declared to my private car insurance company?

If so, immediately/at renewal ?

I have been assured by the company that this is not required, however I thought I'd ask someone in the know first.

In the event of a claim on my private car insurance would this be cross referenced on the MIAFTR register?

Appreciate replies from someone in the trade that can give a definate anwer
