Default Refund

Hi, I have recently changed my insurance policy (due to mods) and am entitled to a refund on my old policy as it had 6 months remaining to run.

The insurance company calculated the refund due of £350, though still haven’t paid up (over a month later) despite me chasing them

Do insurance companies normally dig their heals in a bit when refunding?
How can I make them pay up?

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks
