Default Proof of tracker plus claim closure time?

Sorry to be greedy and do 2 questions in one thread but am wondering how long others have waited for their insurance companies to send back their prrof of tracker fitted to their car.

Also had a claim with my old insurance company which i didnt continue with, told them to stop the claim, they told me they cannot close the claim as the other party may still claim, i know for a fact the skip lorry that hit me didnt have any damage or intended to claim for anything, so how long does the claim remain open for?

any help will be much appreciated as i hate phoning up insurance companies as i always seem to come off the phone totally pissed off!

I sent my tracker proof to my insurer in Sept, not had it back & I assume they will keep it until I change from them even then I may just have to ask for another one from Trackstar.

Just out of curiosity, how much should you expect to pay to fit a tracker now a days?
