Default Dilema

Ok here's my dilema...

My insurance is up in Jan 07.

I have a DR10 on my licence which will run its full 5yrs in July 07 so as from that date I dont need to tell the insurance company about it and save myself 50% on my premium.

Problem is I got a gap between Jan & July that I need insurance for... If I get my renewal in Jan its £2k, if I wait til July its £1k... what do I do?

I cant not drive my car for 6mths (I'll die), is there a temp cover I can get for 6mths that wont financially cripple me??

Please help.
Alex

Hi - HIC Insurance arrange 6 month policies. They do not quote on line and are on 08451 290290.

They are now owned by Adrian Flux and have been around some time.I have not used them so have no idea of their pricing.
