Recomendations for Limited Mileage?
Getting a company car so want to put the scooby on a limited mileage policy. Can anyone recomend somewhere that specalises in these?
Only plan to do 2k max per year. Already with A-Plan but they don't think it will make much difference with them. Currently paying £700 for UK MY95, a few mods but nothing major. This was for 20k miles per year.
Thanks

Hi Nimbus,
Our Insurers offer concessions for limited mileage, reflecting their reduced exposure.
If you'd like a quote & get 5 mins. pop onto www.greenlightinsurance.com and we'll organise a quote for you that also includes "like for like" replacement of your modified parts.
Kind regards
Tony

I'm currently with A Plan and they said they would not insure TPFT. The car is 11 years old with 240k on it. It's not worth more than 2k I think (if that) and can't understand why I could not insure TPFT.
If Greenlight can not give a good quote for low mileage TPFT I'll just cancell the insrance and SORN it until I can find something. I'm not in a rush, but would prefer to contuine some sort of insurance on it. But I'm not going to pay through the nose for the privalage..

Hi Nimbus,
Assuming the very worst, you should have received a quote back either the same or next working day (if referred when we are closed).
If you dont mind, can you please PM me your actual name & postcode - i'll get on the case and investiicate.
Kind regards
Tony
Ps. TPF&T cover for a £2k vehicle will not be a problem

Hi Nimbus,
Thanks for PM'ing your details.
This has allowed me to trace your record.
Your quotation was returned the day that it was placed upon our website, but as you have not received it to date i've re-sent this to you & PM'd you as well to be safe.
Quotes are always returned swiftly, so if you have not received them something is definitely amisss.
We sometimes find that spam filters can deflect the e-mail to the spam folder prior to you seeing it, this is most prolific upon hotmail accounts.
Many thanks for taking time out to contact me
Kind regards
Tony
