Default Clare @ A Plan

Just have to say a massive thankyou to Clare at A Plan for sorting out my insurance. I declared all of my mods (circa 400bhp) and they have beat any quote by far. They have even beaten my quote that i had when the car was standard last year. The service was excellent friendly and very efficient.

I think A-Plan's view of mods is that they will replace them *if* they are cheaper than the standard parts, which in some cases when buying direct from dealers is actually the case.

Keith Micheals are the only company I know of that offer true 'like for like' mod replacement, and coupled with the most competative quote they got my business

I have an agreed value on my car which would pay for all the modifications the car has should it get stolen or worse.

Default A PLAN

I've just received a good quote from A PLAN, but has anyone claimed from them? What's the service like?

Default claims

Guess it depends on the insurance company, as it was explained to me that A-Plan are only the broker.

When i had my claim (non-fault) they used Helphire, who sorted everything out...A-Plan seem helpful enough...

And Tony at greenlight, before you accuse me of working for A-Plan again, talk to Gary Mouslon as when I got a quote from him, i had my c/c in my hand to pay...he could not cover me as i had just bought the car....

Don't think it helps when all your previous posts have involved A Plan.

There are lots of other very interesting parts to this forum outside the insurance section!!!

Just to let you know, Greenlight have been offering the "like for like" replacement of modifications benefit since 1996...

In fact, we actually pioneered it and have always offered this under our modified vehicle schemes.

Chill out man - it does not matter a jot if you work for A-Plan
