Default Keith michaels + a-plan again....

Well since buying my pride and joy, I have tried pretty much all the insurers out there.

Own a modified WRX STI, and called both A-Plan and Keith Michaels.

I am wondering how many of the posts are Gary Moulsons friends (or gary himself), as i thought the dude was kinda not interested in helping (maybe having an off day).He rushed the quote, and offered very little info for the greenbacks he was asking....

Tried A-Plan and they seemed ok, but cheap and cheerful. Never heard of Marketstudy or whatever it was called, and want my baby insured with a top company...More than likely gonna go with Norwich Union...Big insurer, so hope no messing around..

Keep on rockin guys............

Before you think that big is best at least in A Plan they understand what mods are but Norwich Union call centres in Mumbai or Bangalore don't have any idea what dump valves etc are.

It's up to you.

The only other login name i have on here is Moley_WRX, which was my original name. Only had to set this one up as certain people were complaining i was getting free advertising.

If you think i have time to set up several logins, do several hundred/thousand of posts on each one just for the sake of one 'Gary Moulson helped me out' thread you are very much mistaken

I think 99% of people on here will say i am very helpful

Ah but Daredevil will Norwich union cover your mods,I have no connection with a-plan or Moley and I have enquired with both companys in the past for quotes both were very helpful understood what I had and gave very competetive quotes I then tried on line for quotes and what a load of bollocks 3 hours later and none of the companys could come up with quotes. They said yes the car is close to a wr1 that will be £348 full comp etc etc lesson 1 Always Insure with People that are in the Know

Seconded, long story short... uninsured driver hit me, useless indian call centres that have no clue on this type of claim and I lost my NCB, excesses etc. Hate NU!!!!!!!!!!

There are too many uninsured drivers out there and ourselves, the insured, taxed etc are made to pay for them. I'll stop now before my blood boils.

Sometimes the smaller specialist companies are better. With my CTR Greenlight seem the best, they give great prices, excellent and knowledgeable employees... oh and trackday cover for £50

Me/my wife had dealings with Privilege claims service-they couldnt have been more helpful, and if i was insuring a "run of the mill" car then i wouldnt hesitate going with them again- they use top notch soliciters too.

I suppose some get good service and others get bad.

For run of the mill cars the big insurance companies are great, its the high performance cars/cars built for a niche market that may benefit from a smaller inurance company offering a more personal/tailored service.
