Angry How much do you pay for insurance?

Time for the annual renewal on the rb5, my quote stands at bang on a grand with elephant. I think that's awful steep being 24 with 4 years no claims.

What does everyone else here pay that's around my age....

My dad pays £450 fully comp a year on his 03 WRX.

I all really depends of where you live, depending on the quote plus the type of car etc.. adds.

Have a look in insurance to start with .

Aplan worth a call, thou don't know re your age. 1k for 24yr old is'nt to bad tbh, most will require you to be 30+

That's pretty good mate considering you're under 25.

Dave,

I went to moneysupermarket.com - motor insurance section and entered my details and it searches 100's of providers and gives a list of best deals.

I saved £120, from over £700 to less than £600 with Asda.

Do check the details of each for exclusions/inclusions like windscreen, etc. I phoned one to confirm the quote, they were in Northern Ireland, went through all my personal details and eventually got to the cars details and they then stated "oh, we do not insure that type of car"!!!

Regards,
John

Btw my dad is in his early 60's. and the insurnace company he is unsured with is Firzzels (L&V) through the CSMA (Civil Service Motoring Association).

It pays to belong to the CSMA
