Unhappy

All,

My 94 WRX is due for insurance renewal in August.

I paid £2500 as a 21 yo last year. Can anyone suggest insurance companies that will insure an inport and a young female driver?

Many thanks,

Michelle.

Calling Rum*, come in Rum*

Michelle,
would suggest giving Rum* a ring, he's insuring my 94 WRX import, so might be able to do a deal for you.

his number is:

'chelle,
I've a policy with Direct Line (although my age is somwehat different to yours )
I was asked by them "do you have mods?" and replied "yes" but they forgot to ask what mods I had.
After the theft and recovery last year of my scoob, they tried to wriggle out of the claim for repairs, and the assessor now knows exactlty what the extras are on my car!!!!!!

This year my renewal (due in August too) is only about £12 more than last year's

Give them a ring, be prepared for the questions "what is a WRX import"
You've nuffin' to lose.

Cool

hahaha you were done. call 17 to 40. They're a subsidiary of Endsleigh and are very very good and very very easy to barter with.

Hi,

directline.com should do an online quote for an import. I think, but could be wrong

Red face

I put in my reg number on the Direct Line and two other insurance company websites and it said that my car was a 1800cc GL Auto 1998. My car is in fact a 1995 WRX!

Should I be worried or is their database just screwy? I bought the car in March and the reg documents says that it is a manual 2litre and this went to the DVLA and back without them questioning it!
