My insurance is up for renewal this month, and I have been getting some quotes. The company I am presently with were fine, till I mentioned mods (back box & filter).
They have now decided not to quote me this year!!!
Other companies I have spoken to will not touch scoobs with a bargepole without Tracker or similar.
Most companies quote approx £200-£300 more with these mods. Are they having a laugh??
One particular Company quoted me over £1,000
as a 'one off', and made it sound like he was doing me a favour!
Any have any suggestions, or want to buy a Magnex back box?

I have just changed my Honda Accord Type R (£800) for a 02MY WRX. I do 30K per year, 30 years old, full NCD, business use - and been quoted £1200. My excisting company wanted £2000 !! My broker told them they would lose the deal and they dropped the price to £1000. Just like that, so I agree that they are theiving gits. I offered to fit a tracker but it made no difference.
