Default 25 or Under, what do you pay on a WRX ?

Anyone age 25 or under managed to get Insurance on any year WRX for less than £1000 ?

Best quote ive had so far was £1200 with Admiral, that was for a 2001 WRX, im 24 with 5 years no claims.

Im hoping that by the time i take the insurance out i can get it closer to £1000 or even under.

Anyone paying a good price or had good quotes ?

I pay £1,300 with Tesco on my 96 Impreza Turbo, not bad for being 23.

I am currently 18, 19 on the 13th of this month and i will soon be driving my 1992 jap import WRX.

I have found a way of not having to pay through your teeth for insurance for scoobies. I have a nissan micra and im going to upgrade my insurance on that so that i can drive any other car TPFT. The trick is to make sure the other car is not in your name (log book wise) and also there must be a policy already on the car. This is the ONLY way im goin to get insured on my WRX before im over 21! Correct me if im wrong but this seems to be a good way to avoid the high premiums! I know its only TPFT but i think it is worth it myself!

'Upgrade'? Which insurance company will insure you on other cars, as mine certainly wouldn't when I was 18, and still wont now. (22)

CIS, Norwich union. Dont know why you are coming across problems, its a standard thing that once u are fully comp, u can drive anything TPFT as long as the car has a policy on it in someone elses name, and the car aint registered in ur name with the DVLA.

21, renewal came through, £2,400. What the hell are tesco trying to pull. Give you a reasonable quote the 1st year, then bump it up for no reason the next?
