Talking Churchill accept mods on insurance?

Quick Question,

Do Churchill Insurance accept modifications - back box, rear tints etc?

Save me wasting yet more time on the phone.

Thanks,

Brian.

Quick answer-
Phoned um other day,and they wont give a quote with mods, unless you tell them exactly what bhp your car is.Found this also with the AA.So if you dont no wot bhp your car is running its a waste of a call!!

Wouldn't bother with them - when I was with them a few years back - they weren't mod friendly.

No they don't, standard production cars only.

I'm insured with them just over £500 F/C protected. I rang to change my policy to add on scorpion back box and i was told my insurance would be void unless i put the car back to standard or they would give me 7 days to find another insurance company.

L & V £709 F/C unprotected.

I'm with Churchill they were happy with the mods iv'e done including exhaust, new alloys etc. They did put my premium up slightly with the Tek 2 but were still very competative with other companies including L & V

£500 with Churchill!!!!!! Nice one PaulT68, but are you married to one of their loss adjusters?

I've just got a £1400 quote from them on a standard bugeye. I wouldn't mind but I've been driving with no convictions/points/claims since before Winston Churchill was last Prime Minister! I'm in the best insurance postcode in Manchester but still no cigar! I'd hate to think what they'd quote for a planned PPP.

I'd like to give that daft dog a sharp kick in the mouth, though!
