I moved from an MY00 PPP to a MY03 Spec C, my insurance went up by 140 quid per year

No, chickened out and went for a MY04 WRX non PPP.

MY00 Turbo (old insurance) £672
MY04 WRX PPP £1331

Don't get me started on STi spoilers.........

i was with my old insurance company when i had my classic turbo 2000 and my insurance was £700 a yeaer for me on my own (full ncb, 32 yr old no acci, no conv). got a my03 sti and rang elephant to insure it..£520 full comp for year for me AND the missus shes 26.. bonkers!!!! dont ask me how they worked that out. rang em to upgrade when i ppp'd it and they wanted another £85. fantastic!!

the best bit was, for me on my own elephant wanted £600 to insure the sti, cheaper with the missus!
