Hi
Liverpool Victoria as well as doing good deals on Scoobs should give your son a decent quote.

If your son has done Pass Plus which involves 6 extra driving lessons covering night driving /driving in bad weather / motorways etc then the folowing are worth checking out as they give good discounts for holding Pass Plus certificate :-

CIS Insurance
Norwich Union Direct
Tesco
Privilege
Quoteline Direct

His driving instructor can give details of Pass Plus or try the Pass Plus website.

LV do not give Pass Plus discount but they are cheap anyway and depending on the car should quote around £900/1000 for a 10 year old 1 litre car.Check out their comprehensive prices as well as often they hardly any more than TPFT.

Best of luck and happy motoring.

Cool

Thanks folks,

I`ll follow your pointers.
Forgot to mention the young lads jus turned 18 so premium probably loaded on that as well
I`m sure all the insurance companies are decendants of dick turpin, but at least he wore a mask and pointed a gun at you to get your cash

Thanks again

Cool

Nice one Ajax,

Very similar to the motor I got the young lad
Was that comp or 3PFT ?
Think I`ll have to give them a try.

Cheers

teknopete: it was full comp, and the excess was less than the others, cant remember at the movement, but I think it was £400.

She did it all the business over the phone, and the documents were sent to the garage, no problem.

The car is 3 years old and cost was 3,550 with 30k on the clock.
