Thumbs up

What a fantastic resource this is - saved me money when buying my new (and first) Scoob last November and has just saved me over £500 through all the recommendations of Liverpool & Victoria Insurance.

Elephant = £1340 renewal, L&V = £813

Brilliant - thanks.

Cool

Strange how some companies are good for one but not another. 31 here with full no claims, this is fully comp with business use as well and they gave the usual 'we aren't interested in mods just keep receipts and photo's etc....'

I did have to phone them a couple of times though - the first call gave me a quote of around a grand, I checked on the website and got it to just over 800 quid with some work on the excess's, called them back and they could see what I had done online and gave me the 800 quid quote. Job done.

Thumbs up to Scoobynet for me too -
Elephant wanted £1,000, checked out AXA after a recommendation here. They quoted £660, fully comp protected no claims. Only a UK turbo, but 2 big claims (luckily one each for me & my partner otherwise byebye NCD protection) & a TS10

Next saving was for a replacement wheel - Subaru wanted £285+VAT for one, found a set of 4 here on offer for £100
