Just got my cover note through from them and you don't have to send the original just a copy. You only need to send the original proof of your no claims bonus. Check your policy pack that they sent through should be the same, but worth while checking

don't send them the originals!
They lost both my trackstar certificate and the cat 1 alarm cert
and my proof of no claims. Can't even file some paper properley!
Saying that they are quite cheap though

2nd that Dannyboy, Tesco's are crap at administration, if your gonna send them an origanal or somthing be prepared to not get it back, or in my case get a letter more than a year later stating i've had no theft cover, due to not sending my Tracker cert

I'd heard about tesco losing documents, so i sent them a photocopy of my tracker certificate. Never heard anything to say that it was not acceptable to them.

i told them i wasnt going to send them the original and that if they wanted proof i would either fax it to them or send a photocopy.

a fax was sent!!!

must admit that i had no probs with them and within 2 days ur insurance cert is on the doormat, even after making amendments to details.

I got that snotty letter too!
Telling me i had no cover cos i had not sent them my docs which they had lost over three months before hand.
I now have an admission that they lost them anf they have agreed to pay for replacements, but i still have not got round to doing it cos i am never in the right place for long enough to get it sorted!
