Well after trawling many of the often mentioned brokers doing so called good deals I have finally got a reasonable quote from elephant.co.uk

Me: 33 full NCD postcode rating area 13
Car: MY02 Standard WRX
Quote: £844 £250 xs

Others were:
LV:£1231.94 £250 xs
Greenlight: £987.00 £450 xs
Tesco: wanted tracker
Peart Associates: £942.53 £400 xs

O and special mention to the guy at schofields who although couldnt help me was extra helpful!

The whole thing seems a lottery, depends on what day of the week you ring and how the broker is feeling!!! Not postcode rating area, age and car ins. group!!!

Tell us, I promise I wont laugh! I got p****d off when I kept reading how LV were doing amazing quotes until I tried them!

and remember that with elephant any mods you have are not covered, replacement only with the standard manufacturers parts
