I know its in the wrong forum and will be moved (sorry moderators) but Im after a quick response.
Insuring my Scooby. Shall I go with Adrian Flux or Greenlight?
Both offering same price £700 and similar other details.
Has anyone had good or bad experiences of either?
Quick response would be appriciated as I need to renew today.

Oh - and if you need to phone flux they are a nightmare to get hold of on the phone - typical times to hold 10 minutes plus and you get passed around departments like crazy...........

...yes Flux are a nightmare to get hold of on the phone. Sometimes when I have disclosed additional modifications I've resorted to email, which is a complete lottery as to whether they act on them or not.
Also a complete lottery as to whether you ever receive your insurance certificate.

Have had insurance with Flux and am just about to go with greenlight. Had no problem with with Flux, and they were ok with mods. When i spoke to greenlight the bloke seemed to really know his stuff about Scoobs and was aware of Scoobynet, on this basis i would have a bias towards Greenlight.

Thanks people.
Just gone with Greenlight.
Just got the hassle now of getting alarm looked at and non standard brakes looked at.
They apparantly need certificate/letter saying I have a cat 1 alarm,
and a letter from a garage MOT station saying that the pagid disks fitted by myself are fitted ok.

I'm with greenlight, recently phoned them to ask how much more for a new BackBox on a MY01 - they asked how much more power - I said probably not much by itself, just more noise - they said "OK, no extra premium, just send us a letter and copy of the receipt for the exhaust" - much better than I expected!
Also sensible about trackdays.
(wonder how much for a new ECU!)

I needed to pop to Bristol on business purposes, which im not covered for. Had a quick chat with Greenlight who ok'd it as a one off! Bloody flexible and very sensible people if you ask me!
Any insurer will need a cert. for alarm etc, nothing to worry about there.
