Question

... to get at the rear speakers. Chiark, I've had a look at your site which has proved very helpful, but I have one more question. A bit like Columbo.

I can see the two bolts at the front of the rear seats, but where are the other three? I had a quick rummage round the boot, but I have no idea if I'm looking in the right place. Can you enlighten me as to when and where I should look to find the things? I have a Terzo, so no split seat. I don't know if this might make a difference.

Any help much appreciated

First you remove the seat by unscrewing the two screws in front of the seat (the ones you have seen I guess). Then you pull out the seat and then you will see three screws holding the back of the seat. Unscrew those and hook of the back. To get to the speakers you must take off some of the interiour aswell to pull out the "hat-shelf". I must say it was one hell of a job when I did it!

As twinny says, there's just two bolts holding in the seat base.

Remove this and you'll see the other three. Make sure that you get the one in the middle

When you say traumatic, do you mean you needed a bit of faith when you took them off, or do you mean you damaged something? Also, in your experience what's the best way to take them off?

The doors are VERY easy compared to the shelf.. A couple of screws and just rip it off ;-).. It's easy to get back on again as well.
