Default blob speaker upgrade question

currently have a Clarion head unit with twin RCA outputs for amps...1 running a 12' EDGE sub & 900w amp but still with standard door speakers..

whats the best/most cost effective door speaker upgrade?
presume scrapping the rears & just upgrading the fronts yes?

any suggestions?

cheers

The best solution is to amp the fronts as well to keep up with the bass!

Swap that 900W amp for a 4 channel amp, use front 2 channels for speakers (jusr £50-£60 on speakers will be fine, the standard ones won't take amping well) and you'll be laughing.

If that sounds like too much faff, I have infinity components in the front of my car running off the head unit, they're a bit "sharp" sounding for my taste but they're fine for what they are.

the hole for the speakerrs in the front is quite small and if you want to upgrade the fronts you will need spacers as the standard speakers are very shallow so they avoid hitting the window when its down,
also dynamatting the doors is a good idea.
i did this last week, dynamatted front and rear doors and fitted bigger speakers with spacers.
havent gone down the amp route as i just wanted slightly better sound quality.

no my tweeters attached to the original tweeter brackets after the factory ones where removed.
they attached with a screw like originals as my hertz ones have a mounting hole.
