Default Double Din, Sat Nav, bluetooth, ipod, iphone, detachable face a must

Hi All,

I am looking to replace my standard kenwood headunit with something a bit special.

Things I would like:

Double din format
Sat Nav
Bluetooth (with iphone support)
Ipod / iphone control
Must have detachable facia

Any ICE guru's recommendations?

Cheers

Or one of these and an iPad: http://store.mp3car.com/Direct_Fit_i..._p/dsh-030.htm

Its still in pre-order which works out around £130

I guess with this I would need to install an amp and an equaliser of some sort?

Rob, I'm having this fitted as part of the 320r pack on Friday Picked up my new car on Saturday.
Does it come with the lead for an ipod /iphone?, as Pioneer's website seems to suggest its optional?

its a nice bit of kit, postcode search is a bit of a pain you'll soon see what I mean.

just make sure the dealer puts the aux/usb cable in the arm rest, its a pain to put in but you can just plug your normal ipod lead in I'd assume, not tried it to be honest it's most likely an option but it's worth a try in the usb first

There is already a aux and usb socket in the arm rest. Are you saying there is yet another lead just for the pioneer unit, or they should supply a lead to go from the usb socket to the ipod? Thats what I have in at the moment (my own ipod lead), albeit connected to the original head unit

the original aux/usb has to be removed as it wont plug into the pioneer unit. so they send a nice new one that does

I'll have a play at work tomorrow and report back I've not actually tried connecting my ipod to it yet

Thanks. Also would be good to know if the album artwork can be displayed on the screen. According to Pioneer's website it can, but downloading the user manual, it makes no mention of it

Rob, did you find the time to have a play? Had mine fitted yesterday. They did try and fit the USB cable into the glovebox, but moved it to the centre console when I asked them. Only a USB though, no aux socket?
Also, noticed on the way home the navigation isn't the best. Wonder if its possible to put navigon or tomtom software onto it?

320 map is

Thanks
Henny
