Hey dude. Just used these to install my front speakers. Your right they didnt fit my bugeye either which was a little disapointing considering they are meant to be for the car. You'll need to get the drill out, line 2 holes up with a marker pen and get drilling. Theres obviously 3 screw fittings but using the sak 2820 i was only able to get 2 of the original screws into it with the third side of the adapter stuck down with thick double sided tape. Its improssible to get all 3 screws in if your original screws are same distance apart as mine so focus on gettin 2 in really tight and it seems to do the job fine, no rattles. The door panel is very tight against it once clipped back on so gives extra support.
