Default What speakers fit Classics?

What size of speakers fit in the scooby classic rear parcel shelf and doors?
I have a Type R which has no speakers on the rear but the holes are there for them and the speakers in the front are useless. I'd prefer something that was a pretty much direct replacement and would bolt right on hassle free if anyone can recommend anything? Thanks.

IIRC, 13cm, although the fronts can take up to 16cm with spacers, (those from a Corsa fit), and the rears, well mine has 6x9s on home made mdf spacers covered with black fabric like the rear parcel shelf.

I've just bought some 13cm door speakers for my classic. They came with an adaptor.
I'll be fitting them later this morning so i'll let you know how I get on.

13 cm speakers fitted the doors just fine but the adaptors I was sent the mounting holes to the door didn't line up so I had to drill new holes.

My advice is to remove one of your speakers and compare it with the adaptor they have in the shop to save yourself the ballache of having to drill them.

If you can drill adaptors, you can make some. My fronts are 16.5cm fitted in home made mdf adaptors.

Neither, speakers srun on AC.

It's just necessary to have them in phase. Try one way round, listen to the bass, if it's off, swap ONE apir and listen again. Do this with fronts on, them with rears on, then all the way to the right, then all the way to the left.
