I have got a 1997 wrx and the ariel has got stuck and wont go up or down now. Any ideas guys?

 

take it out (from the inner wing) couple of screws is all it takes, remove cover (6 screws iirc ) and then start playing

when youve got it sorted please tell me how to stop mine from jumping when its 'down' ...cleaned it and greased it and played with it a dozen times....OK for 2 weeks then starts stuttering when it winds down (...like a limit switch is incorrectoy set or summat)
