best location for cd changer

what is the best place for cd changer? boot or under seat?

i have mine under the seat but it seems to skip on every slight bump. pls help

It depends how the fitment is under the seat. What I did with mine was glue gun a piece of MDF under the carpet to the floor pan and then screw through the carpet. It is rock solid and has never skipped.
